WHITE BALANCE
White balance is the mechanism of choosing and/or setting the
“white color reference” of the current
environment for optimal image color calibrations. The available white balance modes are:
ATW Normal, 1 TOUCH*, MANUAL, and ATW Xtnd
ATW Normal
This option sets the camera to Auto-Tracking White-balance Normal mode, which automatically and
continuously tracks video display contents (in the normal color temperature range of 2800~9100K) and
adjusts the display for optimal white balance.
1 TOUCH*
This option executes white balance calibration based on the moment of pressing the ENTER button.
MANUAL
This option allows the user to specify customized white balance settings. Entering this option will call
for its submenu
“MANUAL WHITE BALANCE”. Follow instructions on the screen to make appropriate
adjustments.
ATW Xtnd
This option sets the camera to Auto-Tracking White-balance Extended mode, which automatically and
continuously tracks video display contents (in the extended color temperature range of 2000~11000K)
and adjusts the display for optimal white balance.
VIEWING
This menu item allows non-adaptive picture adjustments and settings of image presentation.
