9.

Firmware Update

To Update your Lockit devices ACL 204, ACN-TL, and ACN-LS download the Lockit Firmware Updater
from

http://ambient.de/en/downloads/

Unzip or install the version suited for your platform, PC or MAC. Power on your Lockit, go to
Sys/Config/USB or LemoACN menu and select

“COM”

mode. Connect Lockit or slate via mini USB cable,

Tiny Lockit requires ACN-USB cable. Start the tool and watch the connected unit is listed correctly on
the upper right corner. Below you will see the available firmware options.

On clicking “Update” the unit will upload and restart the unit with red and green LEDs flashing
alternating while the progress bar fills up until it reaches 100% after which the unit will reboot with new
firmware and a success message will appear in the status window. This completes the Firmware update
and you can disconnect your unit. Possible major changes under the hood always require a factory
restore after updating the firmware.
