1.Your device comes with a power cord and is designed to use only manufacturer-specified
original accessories. The red line is positive while the black is negative (the side should not be
connected to the ground wire).

The ACC line (white) connects to the ACC switch of the vehicle. Please be sure to connect
the ACC line, otherwise the device will not detect ignition status. If you do not need anti-theft
temporarily, just connect the ACC line to the positive side in parallel.

Tele-cut-off (petrol/ electricity) control line (yellow) is connected to pin 86 of the Tele-cut-off
(petrol/ electricity) relay (the yellow line of the relay socket).

USB cable (3 pin)
Firmware updating interface/expanded function to reserve space.
5.
MIC line (2 pin)
Externally connect to microphone for voice monitoring function.
6.
SOS line (2 pin)
Externally connect to SOS switch for SOS function.
5.
Operation of device
5.1 Power on/ power off
Power on
: Once a valid SIM card is inserted and all the wires are correctly connected, turn on
the device as shown in the diagram. Refer to GSM and GPS guide as mentioned above.
Power off
: Turn off the power switch.
The device will begin to upload positioning data to server once a valid SIM card is inserted
and the device power is on. While working, it will upload data to server.
5.2 Low battery alarm
This alarm will be activated when the device is working only with battery power. Once the
internal battery voltage is less than 3.7V, the device will send a low battery alert to your Amber
Connect app or web portal.
5.3 One way listening feature
Only preset registered SOS number can call the device. The caller will be able to listen in to
sounds in vehicle..
Note: To this function, please ensure that the SOS number is set on the Amber Connect app or
web portal.
The SIM card inserted into the device should be enabled with caller identification.
The device will not accept calls from non-registered SOS number.
5.4 Remote engine immobilization
Engine can be immobilized from the Amber Connect B2B/B2C mobile app or web portal.
Please refer to Amber App/Web Portal user guide.
Note:
1. Ensure that the ACC is properly connected.
2. If the ACC is ON, but the GPS is not picking up, the engine cannot be immobilized
3. When the ACC is ON and the GPS is fixed, the engine can be immobilized
