Operation

Operate Machine 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.  Lower the machine. 

 

 

 

2.  Go forward, accelerating as fast as 

possible.  The machine is more effective 

at high speeds.  The sooner the machine 

is moving quickly, the more efficiently it 

works. 

 

3.  Lift the machine to turn.  If a turn is made 

with  the roller still in the ground, it can 

cause substantial side loading on the 

lower bearing housings.  This can break 

the lower bearing housings. 

 

 

 

 

 

4.  Make the turn and lower the machine 

again.
