CHARGING:
Connect your TERA-PLAYER to a USB-port on a computer, USB-hub or USB-power supply.
The USB-port must be capable to supply 300mA minimum.
During charging the red LED on the TERA-PLAYER’s front panel will illuminate. After charging is complete, the red LED
will go off. Then disconnect your TERA-PLAYER from the USB port.
LOADING FILES ON THE SDHC-CARD:
You need a computer (i.e. PC or MAC) in order to copy your music from your computer’s music library to the SDHC-card.
Depending on your computer you can either insert the SDHC card directly, or by means of a USB->SDHC card interface.
Supported SDHC card capacities are SDHC 4/8/16/32 GB.
For example: a 32 GB SDHC card will be good for about 100 CDs in full resolution.
If you are using iTunes®, you can copy Artists and Albums directly from the iTunes music library, as the TERA-PLAYER will
directly understand the structure of the iTunes® music library. If your music-library does use other than wav file-types, a conver-
sion software like XLD (available for free) is recommended. This will copy your music to the SDHC card and at the same time
convert all file-types (flac, apple lossless, mp3 ...) to wav.
POWERING ON:
Insert SDHC card with preloaded wav-files into the TERA-PLAYER’s front panel slot as shown. When fully inserted, the
SDHC card will still protude 1mm from the front panel. DO NOT PUSH ANY FURTHER !
The first track will now play automatically, and the blue LED will flash up from time to time (according to the segments of the
SDHC card).
The TERA-PLAYER does scan up to 128 wav-files on SDHC base level, 128 directories on base level (artist folders) and 128 sub-
directories (album folders) in each artist folder, and 128 wav-files in each album folder and artist folder. This way it can access
and navigate in excess of 2 Million wav-files.
POWERING OFF:
Remove SDHC card from the TERA-PLAYER. It is also possible to pull the card just about 5mm from the fully inserted position.
For a temporary playback interruption, it is also possible to press the play/stop button once. This will put your TERA-PLAYER in
sleep mode (with 15% power consumption compared to normal playback). Pressing the stop button again, will wake up the
TERA-PLAYER and playback will commence with the last track.
TACTILE PAD:
The TERA-PLAYER features a tactile pad with 5 large pushbuttons. The basic functions of these buttons are as follows:
Arrow Right -> next Track
Arrow Left -> previous Track
Center Circle -> Start/Stop
Arrow Up -> increase Volume
Arrow Down -> decrease Volume
