Thank you for purchasing the ALTA Performance Rally Lamp Kit. Installation of this kit should only be performed by persons
experienced in the installation and proper operation of MINI Cooper body and electrical systems. Please read through all installation
instructions before performing installation.

Use of the factory service manual, can be very helpful during the installation. These can be purchased as the dealership, or online.

This installation will require cutting and drilling into both bumper beam and bumper skin. Test fit all components prior to cutting and
drilling. ALTA performance is not responsible for repairs from mis-installation.

The light bar is adjustable up and down, and left to right.
Ensure the bar is mounted low enough to clear the bumper.

(4) 5/16-18x2.75” Grade 8 Hex bolts
•
(8) 5/16 Flat Washer
•
(4) 5/16 Lock Washer

(4) 5/16-18 Grade 8 Nut
•
(2) 7/16-20x.750” Black Oxided SS hex bolt
•
(6) 7/16 Washers
•
(2) IPF 968cs lamp kit (optional)

Preparation:
1)
Loosely mount lamps supplied with kit or those purchased separately to horizontal mounting beam with ‘ALTA’ logo facing forward
and readable from the front of the vehicle.
2)
Using lamp assembly as a guide, mark holes in bumper skin where “L” brackets come through. NOTE: Check clearance from all
facets of lamps, beam etc. prior to final determination of holes!
Light bar should be mounted as low as possible to ensure light
do not hit upper portion of bumper.
These holes will need to be approx. 3/4” in diameter and exactly 16.5” apart from centerline of
each hole. Take time with aligning light bar assembly to bumper beam, this will pay off for final installation.
