PREPARING THE DISPENSER

1. Carefully remove dispenser from shipping carton, remove packing material (recycling is recom-

mended), and inspect unit for damage.

2. Check for missing of damaged parts. If parts are missing or damaged contact the retailer.

3. Open the dispenser by inserting key, pressing down on key button 3 and swinging cover 1 down.

4. Pull out RESEVOIR 6 (see page 5), remove CAP 7, and fill with liquid or foam soap. Close CAP 7

tightly.

5. On automatic dispenser — Open battery compartment and insert eight (8) AA batteries or install

AC power adaptor.

6. Open battery compartment and insert eight(8) AA batteries or install AC power adaptor (automatic

version only). When new batteries or the AC adaptor are installed and the unit is receiving power, the

LED will quickly flash GREEN and then RED to let you know it is functioning (If the LED does not

flash, check to see batteries or AC power adapter are installed correctly).

TESTING THE DISPENSER

Press ON/OFF buttom to turn unit on (LED will flash GREEN); factory default setting is off when

initially connected to a power source.

Testing the single dose:

1. Press the SINGLE DOSE BUTTON 11 with one hand and trip the sensors underneath with the

other hand. The LED will flash green and the dispenser will discharge a single dose. If the unit fails

to discharge, check to see that the RESERVOIR is full and

the PUMP TAB 10 is properly connected to the FLANGE 17.

In single—dose mode, the LED will flash GREEN every five

seconds thereafter to remind you that the unit is in this

mode (to prevent any potential wasteful misfires).

Testing the double dose:

1. Press the DOUBLE DOSE BUTTON 12 with one hand and

trip the sensors underneath with the other hand. The LED will flash red and the dispenser will

discharge two doses. If the unit fails to discharge, see above.

In double—dose mode, the LED will flash RED every five seconds thereafter to remind you that the

unit is in this mode (to prevent any potential wasteful misfires). To turn the dispenser off, press the

ON/OFF button once and the LED will flash RED.
