When the appliance is connected to the car, we recommend to set the protection stage to H
(high). M (medium) or L (low) are recommended when the appliance is connected to a back-
up battery. Different cars may have different power output voltage. If the voltage protection
is displayed (F1 appears in the LED display), the battery protection must be changed from H
to M or L.
Most cars will stop power supply if the engine is stopped. But some cars continue power
supply even when the engine is stopped. If the fridge is still working when the car engine is
stopped, then you should adjust the battery protection to H stage. Otherwise, the car battery
may run out of power and the battery may not have enough power to start the car.
Storing food
Fridge (0°C -10°C)
-
Eggs, butter, milk and bottled drinks can be put in the fridge.
-
Fruits and vegetables should be put in the crisper for moisture retaining.
-
Hot food should be cooled down before it is put in the fridge to save energy.
-
Food must be packed in plastic bags. Leave space between packaged foods to keep the
cool air circulating.
Freezer (-20°C)
-
Meat should be cut and wrapped tightly and then freely placed in the freezer.
-
After buying frozen foods, put them in the freezer when they are still frozen.
-
Do not put fresh food and frozen food together in the freezer.
-
Do not put fruits and vegetables in the freezer to avoid freeze-drying.
-
Do not put a glass container or other container with liquid inside in the freezer. Otherwise
the container may explode.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE! Disconnect the unit before maintenance!
Defrosting
After the fridge has been working for some time, frost may be seen on the surfaces inside
which reduces refrigerating effect and increases power consumption. In that case, you must
defrost it.
-
Unplug the fridge, open its door and take the food from the fridge to a cool place.
-
Use an ice scraper to remove ice and frost.
-
You can also just leave the door open and then the ice and frost will melt when the tem-
perature increases.
-
Use a dishtowel to wipe the melt water. After that, put the food back to the fridge and
plug in.
Note: Do not use sharp metal tools to defrost since this will damage the fridge.
Cleaning
-
Use a soft cloth dampened with warm water to wipe the inner and external surfaces of
the fridge.
