Tuning the 2Step Box
The 2Step Box comes programmed to receive a ground signal
from a “normally open” switch. In order to change the signal logic
to use normally closed switches, hit the “I” key to invert the signal
logic in the box.
Hit the “C” key to program the type of coil system the box will control.
For wasted spark write “w”, for coil on plug write “c” and for distributor
systems write “d”.
After all settings are saved, press the “R” key to open the diagnostic function.
This function shows the current position in the 10 position switch and all the
settings stored in that position. It will also display the clutch signal status, the
coil output status and the RPM’s the box is reading.

Coil system type must be set correctly t
o prevent RPM false reading.
