Alpha IP STH 61001-xx

3  Function

The Alpha IP Temperature and Humidity Sensor – Interior (STH 61001-xx) 
measures temperature and humidity of the room in a central location. 
The measured values are transmitted cyclically to the Alpha IP Access 
Point and to the Alpha IP app and are displayed in the home screen of the 
Alpha IP app. Installation is performed in the supplied interchangeable 
frame or in existing switch series of leading manufacturers by screwing 
or gluing on different surfaces.

Communication with other components is performed via the Homematic 
(HmIP) radio protocol. Radio transmission is realised on a non-exclusive 
transmission path; thus, interference cannot be completely excluded. 
Interference can be caused e. g. by switching processes, electric motors 
or defective electric appliances.

 The range inside buildings can be strongly different from the range in 
open air.
