MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- Before cleaning, make sure the appliance is unplugged from the mains.
- Change the water regularly, especially if it has a muddy appearance. If you don’t use the appliance
for 24h or more, empty it. Change water at last every 3 days.
- Should the water not be clean enough, the mist-maker could stop working.
- Clean the ceramic disc with a damp cloth or cotton bud with fresh water. DO NOT IMMERSE.
- Do not scratch the ceramic disc or the water level sensor. Do not use chemical or abrasive powders
which may deteriorate the appliance.
- The mist-maker ceramic disc is designed to last approximately 3000 hours. If mist-maker stops
working while water level is high enough, water is clean, and the product has been used for about
3000h the ceramic disc has to be changed.
TO CHANGE THE DISC :
- Unplug the unit and remove all water.
- Remove the electronic unit.
- Unscrew the winding ring anti-clockwise.
- Remove the winding ring and the used disc.
- Place the new disc, ensuring that it has been place correctly (front / back).
WARNING : The inside cavity of the vessel and all parts must be completely dry before installation of
the ceramic disc.
- Replace the electronic unit (see page 12).
