Step 2: Connect the B&O Masterlink speaker to the mains power supply
Step 3: Activate the TIMER on the B&O Masterlink speaker
Press the TIMER button on the Masterlink speaker or on the BeoLink IR eye. Now the
status LED at the B&O lights up red and indicates that the TIMER is active.
Step 4: Set the DIP switches on the almando Masterplay
DIP switch 2 (operating modes: trigger voltage / audio signal detection)
Depending on which kind of device is connected to the input, set the DIP switch 2 on
the long side of the almando Masterplay as follows:
- DIP 2 ON (top) for devices with trigger voltage
z.B. BeoSound Core, BeoSound 5 Encore, etc.
- DIP 2 ON (top) if no device is connected, and you just want to use the
Bluetooth function of the almando Masterplay
- DIP 2 OFF (bottom) for devices without trigger voltage
e.g. Sonos Connect, TV with headphone jack, etc.
With this option the input of the almando Masterplay is operated with
automatic audio signal detection.
DIP switch 1 (length of the tun-off delay)
DIP switch 1 can be used to set the length of the turn-off delay in audio signal detection
mode.
- DIP 1 ON (top) Turn-off delay ½ minute
- DIP 1 OFF (bottom) Turn-off delay 2 minutes
In the operating mode trigger voltage (DIP2=ON) DIP switch 1 has no function. The
almando Masterplay then switches off the Masterlink speaker immediately as soon as
there is no more trigger voltage at the input.
