7.5. Filling and Draining the Cooling System
The cooling system must be checked at least once every six months, to ensure that
the reservoir contains sufficient coolant. If necessary deionized water should be
added.
If the system is to be stored in a cold area where the temperature may fall below
0ºC (32ºF), the deionized water must be drained from the cooling system.
Filling and draining the coolant are performed with the water filling/draining kit,
supplied with the Accent XL system (see Figure 7-1).

Caution
Never fill the coolant reservoir with regular tap water. Use only deionized water.
7.5.1. Filling the Cooling System
1. Connect the white elbow fitting of the water filling/draining kit to the
VENT
port, on the system service panel as shown in Figure 7-2. Make sure that the
elbow fitting clicks into the port's quick connector.
