Energy-Efficient Ethernet

The Energy-Efficient Ethernet property allows you to optimize the energy 
usage of the interface over Ethernet.

Note

This feature is valid only for copper ports. 

To view the Energy-Efficient Ethernet feature, do the following:

1. Access the Advanced Properties.

See “Accessing Advanced Properties” on page 58. 

2. Select 

Energy-Efficient Ethernet 

in the Property box.

The Energy-Efficient Ethernet page is displayed as shown in 
Figure 25.

3. Select one of the following options:

Disabled —

 For the DNC10LC and DNC10SP network adapter 

ports are fiber connectors and the setting is always disabled.

Enabled —

 For the DNC10T network adapter has copper ports 

and can be set to Energy-Efficient Ethernet enabled.

4. Click 

OK
