Insert the AT-BMGMT Management Module into the switch. Holding the
new module with the text on the front panel upright, carefully slide the
module into the slot, ensuring that the edge connector is fully engaged.
Once the module is installed, check to be sure that the front panel of the
module is flush against the switch.

Secure the new module in place by tightening the retainer screws.
Making the Console Port Connection
To connect a VT100 compatible terminal or a PC with a terminal emulation
program to the RS232 console on the management module, perform the
following procedure:
1.
Connect one end of the null-modem interface cable supplied with the
management module to the RS232 console port on the module. Tighten the
retaining screws to secure the cable to the module.

Connect the other end of the null-modem cable to a terminal or a PC with
a terminal emulation program.

Configure the terminal or the terminal emulation program as follows:
Type: VT100
Data Rate: 9600 baud
Parity: none
Data Bits: 8
Stop Bits: 1
