Firmware Update

◇

New Firmware can be automatic updated to device via LTE network. The latest Firmware
will be downloaded to the device directly when the system turned on with Active mode.

◇ User will receive new firmware detected notification when connect the camera.
◇ P

ress “Upgrade” button in Camera settings -> firmware

◇ The firmware will be updated and the camera will be restart in 30 seconds.
◇ The LED indicator on the camera will blink green and say “new firmware detected, updating

firmware”, please wait for 2-3 mins until camera reboots into normal mode

◇ The camera will say “Firmware up to date” once the update is successful

Please make sure that the system is in the following status before performing the firmware

update:

System working in Active mode

◇

Engine turned on

◇

Do not turn o

ﬀ

engine or the device during update

◇

Do not remove MicroSD card during update

◇ If the camera’s lens is not facing front or to the usual desired direction, re-power cycle the
camera by pressing the power button to “off” position, then again to “on”. The system should
turn the camera lens facing front or usual desired direction again.

If the system fails due to an update failure, please follow the emergency firmware rescue

procedure to rescue.

Format SD card in FAT/FAT32 format (backup SD card first) in your personal computer

◇

On our support page (https://www.alleswolke.com/dashcam_support.html) find and

download the lasted firmware (a .zip file)

◇

Extract the .zip file into your computer and open the extracted folders

◇

Copy all files to SD card root directory, safely remove the SD card device on the

computer system and disconnect the SD card from you computer

◇

Insert SD card into the camera

◇

Turn on the device, the LED indicator on the camera will blink green and say “new

firmware detected, updating firmware”, please wait for 2-3 mins until camera reboots into
normal mode

◇ The camera will say “Firmware up to date” once the update is successful

◇

Do not remove MicroSD card during update
