Remove the Port Splitter
To remove the port splitter from the DIN rail, place a screwdriver in the DIN rail
latch at the bottom of the port splitter. While holding the port splitter, pry
downward on the latch until the port splitter is released from the rail.
To remove the 1747-DPS1 port splitter from the mounting surface, unscrew the
screws.
Interpret the Status Indicators
The port splitter has four status indicators.

Flashing green or red
Port splitter is turning on and auto-configuring.
Solid green or red
Port splitter is on and operational.
Controller
Flashing red
Controller port is transmitting DF1 data.
Flashing green
Controller port is receiving DF1 data.
Network
Flashing red
Network port is transmitting data.
Flashing green
Network port is receiving data.
Prog/HMI
Flashing red
Prog/HMI port is transmitting DF1 data.
Flashing green
Prog/HMI port is receiving DF1 data.
