5.1 Troubleshooting
Please check the list below before concluding that the unit needs to be
serviced. If a problem persists, please reset the unit.

Nothing appears on the
display when turning on the
power.
Poor battery pack connection. Check that the battery pack terminals are
clean, and pack is correctly attached.
Battery is exhausted.
Recharge or replace the battery (page 15).
No Speaker audio.
No reception.
Volume too low.
Adjust the audio level (page 19).
Squelch level too high.
Adjust the squelch.
Selective function is on.
Check the Selective function.
(RAN/ Subtone/ Optional Signaling)
You are pressing the PTT key
and transmitting.
Release PTT key.
Channel don't change.

personal computers and electronics devices like digital cameras are ideal
also to clean the radio products.
