Drives Interface

Drives Submenu Overview

The Drives menu allows you to view and edit

hard drive information

. You

can also add, delete and format hard drives from here.

Properties can be set for each hard drive such as read and write or read only

as well as hard drive groups.

Hard drive groups can be created to specify which hard drive a camera records

to. Important cameras for example could be assigned a dedicated hard drive.

If hard drives are set to Quota mode, individual

cameras can be assigned a portion of a hard

drive. This allows you to set a maximum recording

capacity for each camera.

The Overwrite option in the Drives menu lets you

select whether the device overwrites old data

when full. If set to

, when the hard drive is full,

the DVR will stop recording.
