Assembling the Frame (See Diagram 1)
1. Insert the plain end of the four upper poles (2) into the tapered ends of the four lower poles (3). Make sure the
holes of the upper poles face to the outside as shown in the diagram. Make sure the spring pins snap completely
into place.
2. Insert the plain end from the assembled poles above into the four tapered ends of the U-shaped base rails (4).
Make sure the spring pins snap completely into place.
3. You may now put the U-shaped header bars (1) over the tapered end of the upper poles with hole on both sides.
Again, remember to have the holes in the upper poles facing to the outside. Make sure the spring pins snap
completely into place.
4. Take the four bolts from the hardware bag and the two cross braces (5) and assemble to the upper poles (2).
Insert the bolt from the inside of frame through the tubing first and then through the brace (5). The brace fits to
the outside of the tubing.
5. Secure the bolts by screwing on the four locknuts. Make sure the locknuts are tightly secured. You will need two
9/16” wrenches to tighten the nuts.
6. Place the four S-Hooks in the holes provided. There are two holes in the U-shaped headers (1) and two holes in
the braces (5). Insert the longer straight part of the S-Hook through the hole.
See diagram 2.
Secure by
pushing on the four push on nuts to the bottom of the S-Hooks.
WARNING!
Before attaching the swing chair to the frame, make sure all tapered tubular parts fit completely inside the
adjoining tubing piece. Make sure the spring pins snap completely into place.
