1. Short notes for the use
The air purifier alfda ALR300 Comfort is easy to use. In addition to the built-in timer function, it can be controlled with
an external conventional time switch.
For effective air cleaning, we recommend to proceed as follows:
•
Ventilate extensively 2 - 3 times daily, and then turn on the air cleaner.
•
In order to achieve an optimal air cleaning, the air cleaner may be operated at least as long as a 2-time purification
of the room air volume is achieved.

Additionally, you can use the air purifier in automatic mode.
Using in a sleeping room: We recommend a time limited running with high fan speed after the airing of the room
and before going to bed. If requested, you can use the sleep mode whole night. The window can remain open. In
the case of pollen place the air cleaner between the open window and the bed area.
We recommend to use the ionization in the sleeping area only short term as this can cause bad sleep for sensitive
people.
2. Cautions concerning operation
•
Please unpack the filter before use, otherwise there will be no filter effect. The air purifier can also be damaged!
•
Never block the air intake and the air outlet of the unit.
•
Place the air purifier not in the area of heatings, stoves, etc. and avoid grease aerosols, heat and splash in and at
the unit.
•
Please unplug the power cord when the unit is not used for a long time.
•
To clean the housing do not use water or detergent to avoid damage.
3. Function and property
•
Pre plastic filter with a mesh size of less than 0,7 mm: to filter coarse particles (declining dust, some spores
and pollen types) and bird dust from the air.
•
Dense Blue cotton filter: Anti-bacterial filter. It can remove the big particles in the air. It can also kill the bacterial
in the air.
•
HIMOP filter (High Efficiency Multi oxidation pottery and Porcelain Granule): HIMOP is a kind of high efficiency
grain ceramics with strong oxidizing property. It is honeycombed with passages which can capture all kinds of
organic pollutant in the air and break it down to water and Carbon dioxide. It's the most advanced filtration
technology to remove the indoor formaldehyde. It can remove 93.4% formaldehyde, 99.9% benzene and toluene
in 3 hours. (Testing by "Institute for environmental health and related product safety Chinese center for disease
control and prevention" according to Chinese national standard (GB/T18801-2002).)
•
HEPA filter (High Efficiency Particulate Airfilter): of High efficiency. Removes smoke and dust of 0.3 micron. The
filtrating rate is as high as 99%.
•
Fresh air ionizer could be switched on or off: Negative charges ions (about 3.000.00 / cm3) effectively refresh
the indoor air.
