- Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Light
This light informs you of a problem with the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) system.
If a problem is detected, the light will come on while the engine is running. Cycle the ignition when
the vehicle has completely stopped; the light should turn off.
If the light remains lit with the engine running, your vehicle will usually be drivable; however, see an
authorized service center immediately. If the light is flashing when the engine is running, immediate
service is required and you may experience reduced performance, an elevated/rough idle or engine
stall and your vehicle may require towing.
– Electronic Stability Control (ESC) Indicator Light
If this indicator light flashes during acceleration, apply as little throttle as possible. While driving,
ease up on the accelerator. Adapt your speed and driving to the prevailing road conditions. To
improve the vehicle's traction when starting off in deep snow, sand or gravel, it may be desirable to
switch the ESC system off.
- Service (Scheduled Servicing) — If Equipped
The digital warning light is automatically displayed, along with a dedicated message, with key at
MAR/ON/RUN, approximately 1,250 miles (2,000 km) before the following scheduled servicing
interval and is activated again at approximately 125 miles (200 km ).
NOTE:
Contact a dedicated Alfa Romeo Dealership. The operations in the “Scheduled Servicing Plan” will
be performed and the message will be reset.
– Generic Warning Light
The Generic Warning Light will illuminate if any of the following condition occurs: Engine Oil
Pressure Sensor Failure
