5.4 NAT Settings
NAT Traversal (for service provider reference)---STUN/Static/None
For inter-working with some NAT-unfriendly VoIP system
(server or gateway),which can not detect the phone behind NAT, you may need to
configure your phone to use the NAT external IP/Port.
For such environment, we provide 2 methods to get your NAT external IP/Port
1.
Auto detect by STUN
(You have to contact your ISP to get a STUN URL before setup)
In the main Menu, press
to scroll to
SIP Settings
. Then press
to
select it.
Step 1: Enter Menu to select SIP Settings
Step 2: Select NAT_TRAVERSAL
Step 3: Switch the NAT_TRAVERSAL to “STUN”
Step 4: Select STUN_URL
Step 5: Input STUN_URL address (contact your ISP to get )
For example, 192.168.1.100 or stun.mysip.com
2. Assign external IP by yourself
Step 1: Enter Menu to select SIP Settings
Step 2: Select NAT_TRAVERSAL
Step 3: Switch the NAT_ TRAVERSAL to “static”
Step 4: Select NAT_EXTERNAL_IP
Step 5: Input your NAT EXTERNAL IP address
For example: 192.168.1.100
5.5 Audio Settings
Audio Codec Order: default/ G.723/G.729/G.711u/G.711a/ iLBC20
RTP Port: Set RTP Port here
VAD: enable/ disable
5.6 DTMF Tone
Off / RFC-2833 / Inband
To follow receiver’s support spec., set DTMF Tone here
5.7 Skype Gateway
Enter your e-link Skype Gateway’s SIP account here
For example: 10250003
