IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all instructions carefully before using your appliance and keep the
manual for future reference. In the case you give this appliance to another
user, please provide this user manual along with the appliance.

Before connecting the hot plate to the power supply, check that the voltage
indicated on the rating label of the appliance corresponds to the voltage in
your home. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and do not use the
appliance. Any error when connecting the appliance can cause irreparable
harm, not covered by the guarantee.

CAUTION!: The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when
the appliance is operating. Do not touch hot surfaces of the product.
Use the on/off switch only.

Never touch the hot plate of the appliance during operation or if it
has not completely cooled down after use. There is danger of burns!

To protect against fire, electric shock or personal injury, NEVER
immerse cord, plug, or any part of your appliance in water or any
other liquid.

In the case that your appliance gets wet, unplug it instantly from the
mains.

Unplug unit from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Never touch
the cord or plug of the unit with wet hands.
8.
Allow the unit to cool down completely before cleaning or storing.
9.
Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children
or infirm persons.
10.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Take the
product to an authorized service facility for examination, repair, or electrical
or mechanical adjustment.

For your own safety, check cord and plug of the device regularly for possible
damages. If the supply cord is damaged, it must only be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person, to avoid
hazard.

Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch a hot
surface or any hot parts of the device.

Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven, or
near or on or in an electric kitchenette or microwave oven.

Do not use the appliance for any other than its intended use which is
described in this leaflet.
15.
Your appliance must not be used near or below curtains and other
combustible materials.

The use of accessories or spare parts not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may cause fire or electric shock or personal injuries.

Use the appliance on a level and stable, heat resistant work surface.
18.
The device should never be used as a substitute radiator for heating a room.
19.
As hot oil or grease may in fact ignite, the device should always be operated
under close supervision.
20.
Be sure to take the pot out carefully after cooking is complete so as to avoid
injuries. Always switch off the appliance after cooking is finished.
21.
The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer
or separate remote-control system.
