Disc Buffing Procedure
The Disc Buffing procedure is intended for the most severely damaged
discs. This process, which removes a small amount of plastic from the disc,
allows deeper levels of damage to be repaired.
Remove the pink Buffing units from the product packaging. 1.
Note: Buffing heads must be mounted onto clear
plastic bases prior to use. Use the plastic end of the
brush tool to pry each of the two Repair heads into its
base. Install each Buffing head onto a base, pressing
down gently until they snap into place.
Install the assembled Buffing heads into the motorized 2.
repair unit and rotate counter-clockwise to secure them.
Insert the disc (data-side facing downward) and close the

top cover.
Press the REPAIR button to begin the Buffing process. 4.
It will run for approximately two minutes and stop
automatically when complete.
Press the OPEN button to remove the disc, then follow 5.
with the Disc Repair Procedure (see page 6) to create a
protective layer on your disc.
