3 USE
Don’t forget that this baby intercom is merely an extra piece of mind. The
device can never replace the physical and monitoring presence of a par
-
ent or babysitter.
3.1 TURNING ON/OFF:
Keep the power key pressed until the concerning
unit is switched on.
Keep the power key pressed again until the con
-
cerning unit is switched off.
3.2 CONNECTION CHECK:
As soon as you switch on the parent-unit, it will start searching for the
baby-unit.
1. When the unit is searching for the baby unit, the LINK indicator will
flash; the word [NOT LINKED] and the antenna icon will flash on the
display.
2. As soon as the parent unit has found the baby unit, the POWER
indicator will illuminate continuously and the temperature of the room
where the baby unit is placed will be displayed on the display.
3. If the parent-unit still hasn’t located the baby-unit after 30 seconds
(because it’s still turned off or out of range), the device will sound a
warning tone every 30 seconds.
Example for fixing to a door
The door-/window sensor shall be fixed on the door and the magnet unit
on the doorframe. If desired, you can also fix the door/window sensor on
the frame, and the magnet unit on the door.
1. Closing: Press here to open the sensor.
2. Rear cover: fix this to the frame, door or window.
3. Registration button: you shall keep this button pressed to register the
sensor. See also chapter 3.14.
4. LED light: Flashes during registration.
The sensor operates on two AAA batteries.
