Using the alarm

It is possible to set two alarms at different times. The alarm will either trigger an alarm 
tone or switch on the radio. You can also set the alarm so that it is activated daily or 
only on certain days.

Setting the alarm

 

− Switch the device to standby mode and press the 

AL.1

 or 

AL. 2

 button. The hour 

display fl ashes.

 

− Press the 

 or 

 buttons to set the hour.

 

− Confi rm by pressing the 

AL.1

 or 

AL. 2

 button.

 

− The minute display fl ashes. Press the 

 or 

 buttons to set the minutes.

 

− Confi rm by pressing the 

AL.1

 or 

AL. 2

 button.

 

− Select the frequency of the alarm (

 = daily, 

15

 = weekdays,

67

 = weekends)

 

− Confi rm by pressing the 

AL.1

 or 

AL. 2

 button.

 

− The volume display fl ashes. Press the 

 or 

 buttons to adjust the volume.

 

− Confi rm by pressing the 

AL.1

 or 

AL. 2

 button.

 

− Select the type of alarm: 

RAD

 = wake up by radio, 

BUZ

 = wake up by alarm.

 

− Confi rm by pressing the 

AL.1

 or 

AL. 2

 button.

If the alarm is activated, the display shows 

AL 1

 or 

AL 2

.

Stopping the alarm/activating the snooze function

 

− When the alarm sounds, you can stop it immediately by pressing the 

 button

 

− or start the snooze function by pressing the 

SNOOZE

 controller. The display 

shows an arrow fl ashing above the alarm to be repeated. The alarm will then 
sound again after approx. 9 minutes (up to a maximum of 59 minutes).

 

− The snooze function can be cancelled by switching on the device by pressing 

.

Switching off the alarm

 

− Switch the device to standby mode and press the 

AL.1

 or 

AL. 2

 button to switch 

off the alarm. 

AL 1

 or 

AL 2

 is no longer shown on the display.
