You can set the desired or required cutting depth using the adjustable saw shoe. The
maximum cutting depth for wood is 180 mm, for metal it is 8 mm (see
Fig. B
). Select
the cutting depth so that the saw blade is in contact with the workpiece in every
stroke position along the entire length that the saw is engaged.
1. Make sure that the product is disconnected from the mains.

3. Move the saw shoe lengthwise to the
desired position. Make sure that the
saw shoe is at least up to the marking
in the saw shoe holder

4. Move the locking lever back to its original position to close the saw shoe lock. Make
sure that the locking lever engages.
The cutting depth is now set.
As well as adjusting the cutting depth, the adjustable saw shoe also
allows you to specify which area of the saw blade is in contact with the
saw entry in the workpiece.
