The display shows the number as you enter it.
You can enter the desired phone number in standby
mode, which allows you to make corrections before
dialing. Follow these steps.

Standby is the initial screen that appears when you first turn on the handset. When
your phone is in standby mode, you will see the handset number or the handset name
on the LCD display of cordless handset , if you have one saved. On the LCD display
of base phone you will see the total calls, the date and time.
When your telephone is in standby mode, you can use the telephone to make or
receive calls, or to use the menu functions.
