Completing a Stacked Configuration

Once all stacking cable connectors are inserted, tighten 

the captive screws at the left- and right-hand sides of each 
connector, as shown. 

Be sure not to overtighten the 

screws.

Now that all switches in the stack are connected, the 

next step is to connect all required network and manage-
ment cables. Refer to 

“Connections and Cabling” on 

page 18

 for more information.
