By selecting
Read Serial Number
in the PS programmer and
press the
T
key to obtain the product code (
9120066
), manufacturing
date (
24/02/05
), and the address of the module (
S/N 002-
0006857 ) in order to update the firmware.
Once the transmodulator has been programmed, the Programming Mode
has to be disabled by switching OFF the 'Program' switch. The
'Programming' indicator turns off. The programming indicator will turn off,
the screen of the level meter will come black and after a few seconds the
picture of the selected TV program will be on screen.
8. DATA RECOVERING WITH THE PS PROGRAMMER
Aiming the transmodulator, press the
F
and
READ
keys, and
Read...
will be displayed on the screen. All the data programmed in the
transmodulator will be read.
While reading, the program led of the transmodulator will blink; the
transmodulator must not receive other transmissions at the same time.
Keep the PS programmer aimed at the receiver until the
Read...
message is deleted from the screen.
To check the recovered data, select the function with the cursor and
and the data will be displayed in the PS programmer screen.
