Alarm Contacts and Remote Reset
There are three sets of Form C alarm contacts, labeled Critical, Maintenance and Hardware Alarm on the
UXCM rear panel. Each set of connections has a Common - COM, Normally Closed - NC, and Normally
Open - NO terminal. Connection can be made directly to the facility's alarm reporting system via these
connections. These contacts can be connected in series or parallel, depending on the requirements for
the facility's NC or NO. Also, if multiple units are used, they also can be connected in the same series or
parallel configuration if needed.
