Wireless USB Adapter Configuration
Before continuing with this section make sure you read the note below.
Note that the Monitor Utility also serves as a configuration utility
The Monitor Icon
After installing the device you must initiate the device and bring up the
Monitor Utility Icon. Go to
Start Programs 802.11 Wireless LAN
Configuration & Monitor Utility .
Note For Windows XP users
You have two options for configuring your Wireless settings:
1. Using the Manufacturer’s Monitor Utility
If you are going to use the Monitor Utility supplied with the
enclosed Setup Utility CD-ROM, you must first follow the
instructions, Steps 1-3, of the Use Windows XP’s Wireless
Configuration Utility section
. However, you must disable the
field Use Windows to Configure my Wireless Network
Settings instead of enabling it.
