Memory Installation: DDRII2
The PI965GME provides one DDRII SO-DIMM sockets with Dual Channel Technology supported. This
sockets allow you to install 200-pin, non-ECC & unbuffered DDR II 667/ 533/ 400 SO-DIMM, supporting
to install a total memory capacity of 1 GB.
Memory Installation Steps:
Match the notch on the bottom of the DIMM module with the corresponding pattern in the DIMM slot.
This will ensure that the module will be inserted with the proper orientation. Now the chips or pins at
the bottom of the DIMM module are still visible.
Lower the DIMM module into the DIMM Slot until the chips or pins at the bottom of the DIMM module
are hidden.
Press the DIMM module backward firmly using both thumbs until the module snaps into place. Do not
use excessive force.
