Operation
Crevice nozzle
•
The crevice nozzle (19) is used for cleaning crevices, corners etc.
•
Attach the crevice nozzle directly to the handle (1) of the suction hose or to the telescopic tube (4).
•
Run the crevice nozzle along joints, cracks or openings.
Upholstery nozzle
•
The upholstery nozzle (21) is used for cleaning upholstery.
•
Attach the upholstery nozzle in the same way as the crevice nozzle.
•
Run the upholstery nozzle gently over the upholstery, applying little force in order to avoid damaging it.
•
The brush of the upholstery nozzle (20) can be removed by sliding it away.
Adjusting the suction power
•
Turn the suction power control (10) in the
max
direction, to increase the suction power and in the
min
direction to reduce the suction power.
High suction power : bonded carpets and smooth floors
Moderate suction power : loose carpet tiles, rugs and wool carpets
Low suction power : sensitive tissues
•
During use, you may also use the slide (2) on the handle (1) to adjust the suction power.
The more you open the slide, the less suction power you will have.
Replacing the dust bag
•
If the "full indicator" in the dust level indicator (9) is fully visible, then the dust bag (25) should be replaced
immediately.
CAUTION! The dust level indicator works only when the appliance is running!
•
Vacuuming of fine dust requires more frequent replacement of the dust bag. Very fine dust clogs the pores of
the dust bag.
•
Switch off the vacuum cleaner and disconnect the plug (12) from the mains socket.
•
Take out the dust bag. Dispose of the full dust bag in an environmentally friendly way.
•
Insert a new dust bag.
•
Close the cover. Make sure the nozzle of the hose connection enters the dust bag.
•
Note:
If no dust bag is inserted, the cover shall not be closed.
•
Spare dust bags must be purchased in stores.
Storage
•
Always switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug (12) after use.
•
You may store the vacuum cleaner together with the hose, telescopic tube and combination nozzle either in
horizontal or in vertical position. See

and

.
•
Depending on the use, store the upholstery nozzle (21), brush (20) and crevice nozzle (19) below the cover.
