IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
11. Lay out the cord in such a way that no unintentional pulling or tripping over it is possible.
12. Do not pull the power plug out of the wall outlet by the power cord and do not wrap the power cord around
the appliance.
13. If an extension cord is used, its capacity needs to be suitable for the power consumed by the
appliance.

Warning!
During cleaning or operation do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in
water or other liquids. Never hold the appliance under running water.
15. Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor. Do not touch the
power plug with wet hands.
16. Connect the power plug to an easily reachable wall outlet so that in case of an emergency the appliance
can be unplugged immediately. Pull the power plug out of the wall outlet to completely switch off the
appliance. Use the power plug as the disconnection device.
17. Disconnect the power plug from the wall outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
18. Always turn the appliance off before disconnecting the power plug.
19. Do not open the appliance casing under any circumstances. Do not insert any foreign objects into the
inside of the casing.
20. Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They could pose a safety risk to
the user and might damage the appliance. Only use original parts and accessories.
21. Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces and open flames. Always operate the appliance on a level,
stable, clean and dry surface. Protect the appliance against heat, dust, direct sunlight, moisture, dripping
and splashing water.
22. Do not place heavy objects on top of the appliance. Do not place objects with open flames, e.g. candles, on
top of or beside the appliance. Do not place objects filled with water, e.g. vases, on or near the appliance.
23. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory,
or mental capabilities, or by those who lack experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision and instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
24. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
25. Let the appliance cool down in a location out of reach of children or persons with limited mental
abilities before cleaning.

Parts of the appliance get very hot during use. Touch the appliance
only by its handles or buttons.

do not insert pieces of food that are too thick. Do not insert
metal foil or tools into the appliance.

34. This appliance is classified as protection class I and must be connected to a protective ground.

Do not cover the appliance with textile materials during use or try to dry textile
