Before registering your new Bluetooth
TM
headset at 1 or more of Your telephones, the headset has to be
prepared for being connected to this individual phone. This is being done by reset and pairing.
Prepairing headset for pairing:
•
The first step is to switch the headset off and on again.
•
Then select 2 of the 3 keys of the headset and press them together for about 1 second. Keep in
mind, which of the keys you use, because you have up to 3 possible combinations (for up to 3
telephones: and , or and , or and , one combination for each telephone
•
Release the buttons. You will hear a short melody as confirmation.
•
Repeat this procedure another 2 times with the same keys. So you hear the melody totally 3 x.
•
Now switch the headset 1x off and on again (by slide switch) Now your Bluetooth
TM
headset is
ready to be paired with Your mobile phone (or the first of the desired phones or audio gateway(s)).
Pairing on mobile (or other) phone side
On the mobile phone’s side you start the pairing procedure as described in the user manual of your phone.
Within the setup menu your phone will search for active Bluetooth
TM
devices in your communication range.
Your headset will be detected as „ BT 1000 by Albrecht “. Mobile phone and Bluetooth
TM
headset will
exchange data, which contain among others also the individual serial numbers of all devices. So it is ensured
that a communication can only start between registered partners. After registration of your Bluetooth
TM
headset You will be asked for a PIN code. Please use following PIN code:

(if your headset user manual or gift box should contain a card with another PIN code, please use this PIN
code instead of 1234)
You can repeat the pairing procedure with the other remaining 2 key combinations for up to 2 more telephones
(like office phone via BT 2000 audio gateway, company mobile phone or private phone)
Note: All major mobile phone manufacturers update the Bluetooth
TM
pairing procedures from time to time
together with their software releases. The mobile phone distributors may assist you. New releases can be
found on the internet pages of the mobile phone manufacturers. The attached menu was last updated in
spring of 2003.
Selecting phones for operation with the headset
As long as you use the just paired phone/headset combination, the headset will stay connected with this
device. Selecting another of the totally 3 possible phones will required that You select between the phones:
•
Press the 2 buttons (you had selected for the desired phone) together
•
Release the buttons (You will hear the corresponding melody )
•
Switch the headset 1 x off and on again
