Clean motor
Warning!
Remove fl ammable foreign objects from exhaust
and cylinder area.
Regularly remove grass and mowing clumps from
the motor.
Clean the cooling openings.
Do not spray the motor with water. Clean with
a brush or washing cloth.
Clean the cooling system. In order to avoid
overheating, also clean the inner cooling fi ns and
surface areas where necessary.
Maintenance schedule
Follow the hourly/annual interval, depending upon
which event occurs fi rst. When used under strained
conditions, more frequent maintenance is required.
After the fi rst 5 hours
Change oil
Every 5 hours or daily
Check oil level
Clean motor dustcover
Clean muffl er area and examine
Every 25 hours or every season
Change oil (when using heavy loads or in high-
temperature environments)
Every 50 hours or every season
Change oil
Every 100 hours or every season
Clean cooling system (clean more frequently if there are
foreign objects in the air, high dust volume, longer use in
high, dry grass)
Change sparkplugs
Depending upon contaminants or every 5 hours
Clean air fi lter
Waste disposal
Do not dispose worn-out
equipment with the household
waste!
