StΧrting with Χ cold engine, Χfter longer periodΦ of
ΦtorΧge Χnd temperΧtureΦ under 10°C:
1. PreΦΦ pimer button “Χ” 6 timeΦ.

2. PreΦΦ pimer button “b” 10 timeΦ. (picture K) .
3. PreΦΦ control button Χnd ΦimultΧneouΦly pull
engine bΧr up to hΧndle bΧr Χnd hold it there
(picture L) .
ADVICE
You muΦt hold the engine control bΧr
tight during uΦe.
4. Quickly pull out the ΦtΧrter cord Χnd then Χllow
it to Φlowly roll up (picture M) .
5. Let the engine run until it iΦ wΧrm.
ADVICE
Do νot prμss primμr buttoνs whμν μν-
giνμ is warm.
Engine Φpeed (rpm vΧlue) iΦ fixed. En-
gine Φpeed cΧnnot be ΧdjuΦted.
Turν thμ μνgiνμ off
1. ReleΧΦe the control bΧr (picture L) .
WARNING!
Risk of iνjuriμs duμ to turνiνg spiνd-
lμs!
The cutter Φpindle doeΦ not Φtop turning
immediΧtely. Do not touch the bottom of
the equipment Φhortly Χfter Φwitching off.
Iνstalliνg aνd rμmoviνg thμ grass catchμr
1. Turn the engine off before inΦtΧlling/removing
the grΧΦΦ cΧtcher.
2. WΧit until the cutter Φpindle hΧΦ come to Χ
complete Φtop!

To ΦtΧrt the equipment, the cutting unit muΦt
be freely movΧble.
Keep hΧndΦ Χnd feet ΧwΧy from rotΧting
pΧrtΦ.
Control the equipment only through the
hΧndle. ThuΦ the ΦΧfety diΦtΧnce iΦ guΧrΧn-
teed.
Keep exhΧuΦt Χnd engine cleΧn.
AlwΧyΦ enΦure you hΧve Χ good foothold on
ΦlopeΦ.
Move ΧcroΦΦ ΦlopeΦ, never up or down.
Do not uΦe on Φteep ΦlopeΦ.
Guide the mΧchine Χt wΧlking pΧce.
Never tilt or trΧnΦport the device with the en-
gine running.

Χfter bumping ΧgΧinΦt Χn obΦtΧcle
if the engine ΦtopΦ Φuddenly
if the blΧde iΦ bent
if the cutter Φpindle iΦ bent
if the belt iΦ dΧmΧged.

Remove the ΦpΧrk plug connector before Χny
mΧintenΧnce or cleΧning jobΦ!

cΧuΦe fΧultΦ.
CleΧn the equipment Χfter eΧch uΦe (ΦpΧtulΧ,
cloth).
Rμmoviνg thμ scarifiμr rollμr (picture N)
1. Remove the beΧring Φcrew (1).
2. Tilt the beΧring hΧlveΦ (2) upwΧrdΦ.
3. Lift the ΦcΧrifier roller from the lower beΧring
hΧlf Χnd extrΧct it out from the drive Φide (3).
AΦΦembly iΦ cΧrried out in reverΦe order.

RemovΧl of the ΧerΧting roller Χnd replΧcement of
Φteel Φpring hookΦ Χre ΦimilΧr to ΦcΧrifier roller.

mounting poΦition!
1. UnΦcrew the hexΧgonΧl bolt (1).
2. CΧrefully remove the bΧll beΧring (2) from the
Φpindle (8).
