Setting the Sleep Timer

Using the sleep timer to stop playing after a certain number of minutes when it is playing. By setting the 

sleep timer,  you can fall asleep listening to music and know that your system will stop playing by itself 

rather than play all night.

    You can only set sleep timer when the system is on. 

( Using buttons on the unit ONLY )

1.   During playing back a source,  hold the 

SNOOZE

/

SLEEP

/

      

 button for seconds.

   The SLEEP indicator appears on the display where the letter "S" and sleep time length blink. 

2.   Use the       or       button to set the length of minutes you want the source to play before it stops playing.

      Press the       or       button to cycle through the time length options as follows:

3.   Press the 

SET

 button to confirm. Then, the sleep indicator lights up and the display returns to clock 

mode.

    When the sleep time arrives, the sleep indicator on the display blinks. The system stops playing.

To Confirm the Sleep Timer:

When the 

SNOOZE/SLEEP/

       button on the unit is pressed for seconds, the remaining sleep time is 

displayed. Press the 

SET

 button on the unit or wait for 10 seconds to return to clock display. 

To Cancel the Sleep Timer

Press the  

ALARM/SLEEP OFF

 button on the unit to cancel sleep setting when the system is in sleep mode, 

and the system resume the previous mode.

   The SLEEP indicator goes out on the display.

   Turning off the system also cancels the sleep timer.

Selecting iPod or FM Tuner for the Alarms Sound (TIMER PLAY)

1.  Choose either iPod or FM Tuner mode first for alarm sound. 

2.  Set the alarm(1/2) time.

      (See steps 1 to 6 of "To set the alarm (BUZZER)") 

     

  You can set the duration of the alarm sound from iPod or FM Tuner from 10 minutes to 30 minutes 

          in Auto Mode Timing. 

Note: 

The "Auto Mode Timing" can only be set after the alarm type is set.

 

3.  Confirm that you can hear the iPod or FM Tuner. 

     

  Set to an appropriate volume with the "      " and "      " buttons. The default volume level is 10. 

4.  Switch the alarm switch to "TIMER PLAY". The selected source blinks on the display. 

    

   The corresponding bell icon of set alarm appears on the display. 

    

   The backlight is off when "TIME PLAY" is set.  The backlight is on when the alarm time arrives.  

    

   AUX cannot be selected as a source. 

    

   If the unit power is off ( but still one lithium coin battery is in it ), the alarm will sound with buzzer 

         instead of iPod/ FM Tuner sound. 

    

  If the current frequency is not presetted, the alarm will be activated by the default preset station  

         (P01) in factory when you switch the alarm to "TIMER PLAY".

Stopping the Alarm Sound  

To pause the alarm (snooze)

 

  

Press the 

SNOOZE/SLEEP/     

  button while the alarm is sounding, when the alarm is set with either 

"BUZZER" or "TIMER PLAY".

 

  The alarm sound is temporarily stopped, and started again 5 minutes later. You can repeat this up to 10 

times. 

To stop the alarm

   

Press 

ALARM SLEEP/OFF

 button briefly on the unit to stop the alarm for this time when the alarm is 

sounding, which is still armed and will sound at the set time the following day (according to your set 

alarm type). The set alarm icon on the display is still lit.

   

Enter alarm setting mode (see "Setting the Alarms" section) and press 

PRESET

      or      button to switch 

from "ON" to "OFF", the set alarm will be cancelled. 

   

Slide the alarm switch to 

OFF

 to stop "ALL" alarms, and no alarm will be activated the following day.  The 

alarm icon(s) on the display goes off on the display.  

Note:

   

When the alarm is sounding, the playback of iPod, FM tuner or AUX will be automatically stopped for 

the interval, and the playback will be resumed after the alarm is stopped.
