HiFi signal indication
When you press CALL dur-
ing the playback of Hi-Fi video
cassette or when you start
the playback of a Hi-Fi video
cassette during CALL-mode
(see P.17), Hi-Fi will appear
on the TV-screen for approx.
4 seconds.
Bilingual program indica-
tion
If a bilingual program had
been received when you
changed the channel or
pressed
CALL , BILINGUAL
will appear on the TV-screen
for approx.4 seconds.
Stereo program indication
If a stereo program had been
received when you changed
the channel or pressed
CALL ,
STEREO will appear on the
TV-screen for approx. 4 sec-
onds.
The recording will be performed automatically.
The tape recording is always both in Hi-Fi and in
MONO on the standard longitudinal track. In case
of bilingual TV programs always the two audio
channels will be recorded.
Hi-Fi Stereo Audio Recording and Playback
Notes:
• When listening to a stereo broadcast or playing
back a tape Hi-Fi recorded in stereo, you have to
connect the VCR with the stereo audio system or
the stereo TV. The sound which is output from the
RF OUT jack is monaural.
• When you play a tape recorded in mono, the sound
is always played back in mono regardless of the
AUDIO SELECT setting.
• If the sound is distorted when playing back the tape
recorded by other Hi-Fi VCR, adjust with
TR (TRACK-
ING) + or – .
