MPK25 Test Protocol and Procedure

Purpose
This current document describes the procedure for using the MPK 25 Test Program to perform a quality check
of unit functionality. It does not describe any tests to be performed regarding physical or mechanical integrity.
Required Materials
You will need:
1)
A PC with an optimal screen resolution of 1600x1200
2)
A standard Midi cable
3)
The Max/MSP Runtime Installed
4)
An expression pedal
5)
A sustain pedal
6)
A USB A to B cable
Preparation
1) If your PC does not have a copy of the Max Runtime installed, you will first need to install this software.
This will be provided to you upon the initial release of the testing software
2) Each unit will need to have a midi cable routed out and back into the unit. Midi out to midi in.
3) Each unit will need to have an expression and sustain pedal plugged into the back.
Testing
1.1) Plug in the USB cable. Unit initializes.
1.2) Open the MPK25 Tester software
