Note: Don’t disconnect the USB cable or switch off the power during formatting. It may cause the
player mal-functioning.
Dividing Partition and Setting Password
The memory capacity of the player can be divided into two partitions. All files
stored under one of the partitions will be hidden and protected by a password after
the software is installed on your computer.
Note: For Windows 2000, please make sure your computer installed Service Pack 4 (SP4).
Otherwise, only one of the partitions can be detected on Windows 2000.

Click Start button, select Programs > MP3 Player Utilities 1.45 > MP3 Player
Disk Tools and switch to the tab of Partition and Encrypt
