USING YOUR APPLIANCE
DAB:
•
Press DAB/FM to select DAB. The
DAB RADIO will play the last station
listened to.
• FULL SCAN: Pressing SCAN will
result in a complete search of
available DAB stations. The screen will
show the progress status and the total
number of DAB stations found. When
searching is 100% complete, the DAB
RADIO will play the first DAB station.
• Choosing a station: Press or
to change stations for DAB stations.
• Press ENTER to select a station.
• INFO: Press INFO to change the signal
status and time, station information,
BitRate and more.
Note: Under DAB mode, the time and date
of the device will automatically sync with
the station.
•
VOLUME: Press VOL - or VOL + to
adjust the volume.
FM:
•
Press DAB/FM to select FM. The
DAB RADIO will play the last station
listened to.
• If it is the first time you have used FM,
it will display the default FM 87.5HZ.
• AUTOMATIC SCAN: In FM mode,
briefly press SCAN to search for FM
stations. When a station with strong
signal is found, the DAB radio will stop
searching and play the station. Press
and hold SCAN to scan through the
stations backwards.
• You can select the sensitivity of the
auto scan option to select which
signals auto scan will pick up on.
Press and hold INFO to enter the
Menu. Then press or until the
screen shows ‘FM Scan Setting’ and
press ENTER to select. Use the or
buttons to select ‘Station Strong:
Only or All’. Selecting ‘Only’ means the
auto scan will only select stations with
a strong signal. Selecting ‘All’ means
the auto scan will pick up on all
signals. After selecting, press ENTER
to confirm.
• MANUAL SCAN: If you wish to select
a particular FM station and know
the frequency, press or and
the FM tuner will move in 0.05MHz
increments. Press and hold to quickly
adjust the frequency forwards or
backwards.
• STATION INFORMATION: When you
have selected a station, you can press
the INFO button to check the station
information such as the RDS Radio
Text, frequency, station name, Stereo/
mono and program type etc.
• AUDIO MODE: In FM mode, press
ENTER to enter AUDIO MODE. Press
ENTER to select STEREO, press
ENTER again to select MONO.
BATTERY ASSEMBLY:
Please assemble the battery as per the
below procedures:
1. Open the battery cover in the back.
2. Insert 4 x 1.5V AA batteries into the
battery compartment, taking care to
ensure the polarities are correct.
3. Close the battery cover.
Note: When the battery is low, the screen
will show ‘‘Low Power’’.
Do not put old and new batteries or
different types of batteries together. Take
care to ensure the polarities are correct
when installing the batteries.
