TAPE PLAYBACK
Playback
Use only type I (normal) tapes.
1 Press
z
PUSH EJECT to open the cassette holder.
2 Insert the tape.
Insert with the exposed side down, and press
z
PUSH
EJECT to close the cassette holder.
3 Press
d
to start play.
To select a reverse mode
Hold down SHIFT and press REV MODE repeatedly on the
remote control.
The mode changes as follows;

" : Plays one side only

[
" : Plays from the front side to the back sides once.
"
]
" : Plays both sides repeatedly
To stop playback
Press
s
.
To change the playback side
Press
d
in playback mode.
To rewind or fast forward
Press
f
or
g
.
To reset the tape counter
Press
s
in stop mode, and the tape counter on the display is
reset to "
0000
".
Opening and closing the cassette holder will also reset the
tape counter.
To eject the tape
Press
z
PUSH EJECT after the deck stops completely.

Notes on cassettes
•Use of 120-minute or longer tapes is not recommended
since they are extremely thin and easily deformed or
damaged.
•Wind up any slack in the tape with a pencil or similar tool
before use. Slack tape may jam in the mechanism.
