1. Tape Speed Adjustment
Settings : • Test tape : TTA–100 (Tape center)
• Test point : PHONES (J101)
• DSL : OFF
• Adjustment location : SFR301
• DOLBY SW : OFF<597 only>
• TAPE SELECTOR : NORM(auto)
• VOLUME : MAX
Method : Play back (FWD) the test tape and adjust
SFR301 so that the frequency becomes
3015Hz±10Hz. Then confirm WOW is less
than 0.50%.
2. Dolby level check<597 only>
Settings : • Test tape : TTA–200
• Check point : TP1(RCH), TP2(LCH)
• DOLBY SW : OFF
• DSL : OFF
• TAPE SELECTOR : NORM
• VOLUME : MINI
• Adjustment points : Soldering patterns -
Precedure : Short the patterns via solder as showen in the table
so ghe Dollby NR level is 32mV ± 1.0dB. Adjust
so the specifications are satisfied in both theforward
ans reverse directions. Connect 10uF/16V coupling
capacetors between test points and test wquipment
(connect the positive terminals to the test points).
