While the tracking servo and sled servo ON/OFF operations,
buttons can be operated normally.
CD Test Mode Function
•
While pressing this button, set the function selector switch to CD. The unit enters the CD test mode.
•
When the unit enters the test mode, all elements of LCD light.
•
When the main power is turned off or the unit moves to any other function, the unit exits the test mode.
•
“CD Test Mode Operations List” is shown below.
<Sled operation>
While all LCDs are lighting, the sled operation test is performed by the following operation.
Press this key: Sled moves to outer circumference.
Press this key: Sled moves to inner circumference.
<Focus search operation>
The focus search operation test is performed by the following operation.(LCD returns to the normal display.)
Press this key: • LCD display cancels light-on of all LCDs and returns to normal display.
• Focus search is continued even after the optimum focus is obtained.
• Focus servo is not turned on.
<Tracking servo, sled servo ON/OFF operation>
The tracking servo and sled servo ON/OFF operations can be performed by the following operation.
Press this key: • LCD display cancels light-on of all LCDs and returns to normal display.
• Focus search is continued even if optimum focus cannot be obtained.
• After that, the unit enters the normal PLAY operation.
