3 Verifying Prerequisites
Prior to installing the AirSpeed 1000, verify the required safety, power, tools, parts and components.
This chapter includes the hardware, software, and client requirements for installation.

3.1 Verifying Site Requirements
To set up the AirSpeed 1000, an IP connection to a Netspan server is required.

securing the pole straps (bands)
13 mm wrench
for securing M8 nuts
10 mm or 13/32 inch wrench
for securing M6 nuts
Large pliers
Tightening cable glands - To fit 15 mm
Note:
Airspan does not provide screws and wall anchors for mounting the unit to the wall. The screw
size depends on the structure of the building to which the unit is to be attached. When selecting
screw sizes, consideration must be given to the weight of the unit and load that may be induced in
windy conditions.
