Anchoring/Ballast Weights
This additional manual does not cover anchoring and inflation procedures. Please see section 12.
Anchoring and use of anchor points
from
the supplied
Land Inflatable Operation Manual
.
When using ballast weights, the operator will have to consider a weight of at least 160kg (352.7
lbs.) for EACH outside anchor point (lower or upper). If the operator wants to connect multiple anchor
points to the same ballast, the weight of it has to be AT LEAST the number of connected anchor
points multiplied with 160kg.
- Switch on all fans. Check around the Air Building to make sure that it does not come into contact
with any obstructions. Please be aware that if connected,
THE 2 SECTIONS NEED TO BE
INFLATED TOGETHER, SIMULTANIOUSLY
.
- Once inflated, check that the walls are straight and aligned. If the walls are out of alignment, then
these can be pushed/pulled into place using the interior/exterior ground anchor points.
- The angle of the ropes to the ground that connect to the high-level anchor points has to be
between 30° and 45°.
USE THE 1M PEGS FOR THE LOWER, GROUND ANCHOR POINTS,
AND THE SMALLER 40CM PEGS FOR THE UPPER ANCHOR POINTS.
