Battery Replacement Process
The AIRPHX 7-day timer is equipped with a lithium battery giving it the
ability to retain its programming during a power loss.
The
battery
in
the
PA2400
7
‐
day
timer
will
need
to
be
replaced
every
2
‐
3
years
depending
on
use.
The
battery
is
a
standard
CR2032
lithium
battery
that
is
available
in
most
local
drug
and
big
box
stores.
All
that
is
required
to
replace
the
battery
is
a
flat
blade
screwdriver
to
open
the
door
to
the
PA2400,
a
coin
to
remove
the
battery
door
and
a
fresh
CR2032
battery.
Replacing the timer battery
1.
Turn
off
and
unplug
the
PA2400.
2.
Using
a
large
flat
blade
screwdriver,
turn
the
two
latches
located
on
the
front
door
of
the
PA
2400
counterclockwise
a
quarter
of
a
turn
to
open
the
unit,
refer
to
fig
1.
3.
Open
the
door
wide
enough
so
that
you
can
gain
access
to
the
back
of
the
7
‐
day
timer
located
on
the
door,
as
shown
in
fig
2.
4.
Using
a
coin,
remove
the
battery
door.
This
is
done
by
turning
the
battery
cover
a
quarter
of
a
turn
clockwise
as
shown
in
fig
3.
5.
Use
a
small
flat
blade
screwdriver
to
remove
the
battery.
This
is
done
by
prying
up
on
one
side
of
the
battery.
6.
When
replacing
the
battery,
make
certain
the
“+”
side
of
the
battery
is
pointing
up,
as
shown
in
fig
4.
7.
Replace
the
battery
cover.
Using
a
coin,
turn
the
battery
door
a
quarter
turn
counterclockwise
to
secure
the
door
in
place.
8.
Close
the
unit’s
door.
Using
a
large
flat
blade
screwdriver,
turn
the
door
latches
clockwise.
You
may
need
to
push
on
the
door
while
turning
one
of
the
latches.
9.
Plug
the
PA2400
back
in
and
turn
the
unit
on.
10.
Unfortunately,
the
timer
will
need
to
be
reprogrammed.
